TEDxXIE 2016

Knowledge and ideas are interconnected across various disciplines and fields. We wanted to create a space that fosters such thought provoking conversations in our Institute. That is how we thought of bringing TEDx. The first TEDxXIE event was organised by a student, Adellina Andrew, on 5th March, 2016. With the help of small team they applied for the licence in September which clearly stated our understanding of TED and the motivation behind our desire to run the event.

Post the license approval, the team worked together in curating six speakers to share their ideas ranging from diverse topics like technology, artistry, environment, medicine, Artificial Intelligence and more, that revolved around their theme of 'Beyond Limits'.
